Dear Friends, Hi ya!

Well, we are moved into Overtoun House—REALLY!!! There is heat and running water and all the drains work and boy is it wonderful to be at home! Thank all of you who have prayed, sent money or come personally to help with this first phase!

Every day we have people up walking the grounds and asking questions about what this is all about. As we share the vision it’s great to see their eyes and faces light up with anticipation! They know, really know, just how bad things are here!

Recently released government statistics show that in our area we have the highest teenage pregnancy rate, highest juvenile crime rate, highest juvenile drug and alcohol usage, highest incidents of violent crime among youth, the highest unemployment, and the highest percentage of youth not going the full time in high school, not only all of Scotland, but all of the UK and Western Europe! Thank You Jesus that Your Name is higher than any other!!!

I (Bob) am now the convenor of Clydebank Churches Together (Ed - Bob served one term as convenor and stood down). We just put together our Good Friday Witness in the Town Centre Shopping Centre. We witnessed with praise and worship. Our church worship team lead this and then worked together with the Salvation Army Band, as well as putting on a puppet skit which Melissa wrote. We had open air preaching from 5 different churches and hundreds heard the true reason for the cross. What a Saviour!!!

We are now planning monthly joint praise and prayer evenings! This is unheard of in our neck of the glen, but this is a New Day! God is bringing people together from across denominational lines and preparing us to impact the whole region!

We are also working with a similar group of churches in neighbouring Dumbarton to see the Spirit move in this whole area!

We have been very blessed by the level of Council support we have received throughout this whole time. I was recently asked to stand in the next years election as a councillor. It’s hard to believe that an American would have found such favour, but God has been so gracious! I can’t wait to see the lives that are changed as Jesus builds His Church and we labour to extend His Kingdom! Glory!!!
