of the West Highland Way that heads towards Loch
Lomond and past Ben Lomond, the closest Munro to

Glasgow
The city of Glasgow has something for all ages
and tastes: shops, musuems, resturants, great architecture
and culture. The city has many shopping centres: the
Buchanan
Galleries, Sauchihall Street and Argyle
Street to name a few. The city centre is also
a great place for a night out packed with bars and
resturants. In the city's west end the Kelvingrove
art museum and the Museum of Transport
have plenty to offer the visitor.
Gaze
up as you walk around Glasgow streets and you may
see some of the other buildings designed by James
Smith, architect of Overtoun House, including
the McClellan galleries. Visit Glasgow
Cathedral and you will find a statue of James
White founder of Overtoun House.
