Many churches here in Scotland also sent workers to join with their US counterparts. His Family Church, Rock Community Church, St. Patrick's, Old Kilpatrick Church of Scotland, Elim Family Church, St. Mark's Church of Scotland, Radnor Park Church of Scotland, Clydebank Churches Together, King's Centre Motherwell and many others put in long hours and hard work on this phase.

We have seen many churches in both countries contribute to the financial side of this as well as holding us up in prayer. To all we are so grateful! And there is still more to be done! Phase Two is due to start shortly and we hope to have many others join together in this project.

Phase Two.

Phase Two will consist of renovating the Basement area of the house. This area requires very extensive demolition. That means we can tear stuff up! That's always tons of fun and believe me, there's a ton to be done! We will also begin working on the grounds at this time.

We need those who are skilled in plumbing, electrical and carpentry as well as those who just like to get in there and work beside others. Gardeners, have we got a challenge for you! 98 acres of parkland and gardens to be lovingly upgraded and renewed. We will be renewing walking trails and building park benches and gazeboes as well.

The folks over here in Scotland are looking forward to meeting new friends from the US and I know you'll enjoy rubbing shoulders with them as we work together to impact the many thousands of young people and others in this area. This next phase will also involve more ministry opportunities as we reach out to the many hundreds of visitors to Overtoun House from the surrounding community.

Please pray about what part you and your church might have in this project to bring Hope And Healing to the people of West Dunbartonshire! Youth Groups as well as families and individuals and church groups are welcome and needed! We will provide opportunity to sightsee as well!
